  I used to be a big fan of Bergeron Pecans. Not anymore. They have been horrible for the last couple of years. They are dried up, small, and rancid. By the number of boxes still siting in the produce department in stores, have proven that they are not selling very well. It only takes one rancid nut to ruin what ever one is eating. That taste has to wear off over time. I have no idea how the company is letting this terrible product get on the store shelves. But, if one has to ask what companys do what they do, it is all about the money. It will be a long time before I buy another bag from Bergeron’s Pecans, if ever. It would be one thing if there was one or a few bad nuts in a bag, but when one has to discard one third to almost half a bag, it just isn’t worth it. Reputation is damaged...leaves a bad taste in ones mouth, doesn’t it? Not any more.
